I am Minjae Lee, an M.S. candidate at the APEX Lab, Gyeongsang National University, graduating in August 2026. I dream of bringing the technologies imagined in science-fiction films like Iron Man and the Avengers to life. My research focuses on 4D perception to enable computers to understand space and time. Specifically, I investigate LiDAR Moving Object Segmentation (MOS) to model spatiotemporal dynamics. To achieve real-world applicability, my work emphasizes generalization across heterogeneous sensors, lightweight architectures, and robustness in diverse environments. More recently, I have been exploring World Models.
저는 경상국립대학교 APEX Lab 소속 이민재이며, 2026년 8월 컴퓨터공학 석사 졸업을 앞두고 있습니다. 아이언맨, 어벤져스 같은 SF 영화 속 기술이 현실이 되기를 꿈꿉니다. 컴퓨터가 공간과 시간을 이해하도록 하는 4D 인식(4D perception)을 연구합니다. 특히 시공간 동역학을 모델링하기 위해 LiDAR 이동 객체 분할(MOS)을 다루며, 실세계 적용성(real-world applicability)을 위해 이종 센서 간 일반화, 경량 아키텍처, 다양한 환경에서의 강건성에 중점을 둡니다. 최근에는 월드 모델(World Model)도 탐구하고 있습니다.
